These daily reading comprehension passages are perfect as a bell ringer for middle school! Each informational text reading passage includes practice for determining the central idea and making inferences. Students will read a passage about a different informational text topic each day and then answer two multiple choice questions that focus on identifying the central idea and making inferences. Students also have to provide a quote from the text that supports the inference they made.
