Done for you figurative language posters make the easiest bulletin board ever!
I’ve said this before, but one of the best parts about teaching middle school ELA is how creative you can be with the content. Figurative language is the perfect topic for a spring bulletin board. I’ve yet to encounter a topic or theme that I couldn’t integrate with figurative language. Honestly, you can make a metaphor about anything. That is why I created my figurative language posters line of products! These eye-catching posters make for the easiest classroom display: simply print and put up! I like to make sure the products I make are loaded with value, so this product also includes figurative language definition posters, a presentation, and differentiated notes! Everything is also text-editable in case you need to change anything!
Collaborative posters get your students involved in creating spring bulletin boards for your middle school ELA classroom!
Displaying student work is important even at the middle school level, but that isn’t always easy to accomplish. I created these collaborative figurative language posters that require students to be creative in coming up with an example of figurative language and illustrating it. This product includes nine different posters that are made up of four pages each. Students will enjoy creating their masterpiece and then seeing it combined with their classmates for a unique final product! This resource includes a version of the posters with a blackline illustration as a starting point and a version without the illustration for maximum creativity.
Flowers are always in season with my floral classroom decor.
I’m a sucker for a floral print, and this floral classroom decor set is one of my favorite things that I’ve ever created. This stunning (at least in my incredibly biased opinion) resource was specifically designed for middle school ELA classrooms. It includes three different versions of every poster so that you can choose which prints you use. The posters are text-editable and include welcome signs, parts of speech signs, literary elements signs, and more! While they can be used in your classroom year-round, they are especially perfect for spring!
