I’ve spent so many summer days trying to pick out the perfect classroom decor for my middle school ELA classroom. While cute, a lot of the classroom decor themes that I saw were geared toward elementary school teachers. While there isn’t anything wrong with that, of course, it didn’t make a lot of sense for me to spend $40 or more on products that included math resources or alphabet posters. I’ve wanted to design my own classroom decor for years, and once I finally got over the imposter syndrome and got to it, I was thrilled with the results! I’m not sure I’ve ever used a resource in my classroom that I didn’t change up, or at least wish I could change up. The needs of both teachers and students vary so much that I like to offer editable versions of everything I can. This decor set includes printable PDF signs and text-editable Microsoft PowerPoint versions! The font is embedded in the PowerPoint, so the posters will still have a cohesive look even if you have to alter something. Though the background and images cannot be changed in any way, ALL of the text can be edited. This means anything you use from this classroom decor set can be altered for your classroom and your students.
